Asparagus and Veggies Recipe
Description: Take some fresh garden grown asparagus, along with
a with minced veggies and voila, you have a delicious hit. Try variations
of this asparagus recipe, with other veggies, including beans, cabbage,
cauliflower, and squash.
4 cups fresh asparagus
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup diced celery
1 teaspoon minced onion
1 teaspoon minced green pepper
3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese (try other cheeses, too)
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place all ingredients, except cheese, into a covered casserole dish.
Bake in oven for 30-40, until asparagus is tender.
Sprinkle cheese on top of the asparagus,and bake another 10 minutes to melt
