Buttered Beets and Celery Recipe

Description:  This is a quick and easy recipe. Try it when you are short on time, but you've just "gotta" have some beets.

Servings: 6-8


Ingredients:

  • 3 Tablespoons minced onions

  • 4 Tablespoons butter

  • 2 cups cooked beets

  • 2 cups cooked celery, diced

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar


Preparation Directions:

  1. Cook beets in water until soft. Drain

  2. Cook celery in water until soft. Drain.

  3. In a frying pan, saute minced onions vegetable butter.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and cook thoroughly.

  5. Serve hot.
