Cabbage Au Gratin Recipe

Description:  This recipe uses a white sauce. The cabbage blends well with the white sauce, making it a flavorful recipe. This is an easy to make recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 cups cabbage, chopped

  • 2 cups white sauce

  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

  • Butter or margarine

  • 1 cup bread crumbs


 How to Make Cabbage Au Gratin:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Boil cabbage in water until cooked.

  3. Drain cabbage.

  4. Butter the inside of a baking dish.

  5. Mix together the cabbage and white sauce.

  6. Pour cabbage and white sauce into the baking dish.

  7. Cover with grated cheese and then the bread crumbs.

  8. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

  9. Serve hot.
