Candied Carrots Recipe

Description:  Candied Carrots are quick and easy to make. Kid's love 'em. You can vary the proportions for big or small families, or groups.


Candied Carrot Ingredients:

  • Four large carrots (or 16 oz. package of baby carrots)

  • 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

  • A sprinkle of parsley

Candied Carrots Preparation Directions:

  1. Peel carrots.

  2. Cut carrots into wheels

  3. Boil carrots in water until soft.

  4. Drain carrots.

  5. Add butter or margarine. Stir in until completely melted.

  6. Add brown sugar and mix together well.

  7. Pour into a serving bowl. Sprinkle top lightly with parsley.

  8. Serve hot.
