Cottage Potatoes Recipe

Description:  Here's a very old time recipe that you are certain to enjoy.

Serves: 8


  • 10 lbs. boiled potatoes, peeled and diced

  • 1 lb. American cheese, diced

  • 1 green pepper, diced

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 small pimiento, diced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Milk

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • Corn Flakes

How to Make Cottage Potatoes Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven to 350 F.

  2. Mix together potatoes, cheese, green pepper, onion, pimiento, salt and pepper.

  3. Add enough milk to moisten the mixture.

  4. Grease a baking dish.

  5. Pour mixture into the baking dish.

  6. Pour butter on top of potatoes.

  7. Sprinkle corn flakes on top.

  8. Cover and bake for 1 hour.

  9. Serve hot.
