Cucumber in Sour Cream Recipe

Description:  It's quick and easy. Cucumber in Sour Cream is a cool way to eat cucumbers on a hot day.


  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and sliced

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 8 teaspoons vinegar

  • 4 teaspoons fresh chives

  • 1 teaspoon dill weed

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Dash of hot pepper  - optional

Preparation Directions:

  1. Sprinkle salt over cucumbers. Let stand 30 minutes. Drain any water off.

  2. Sour cream and remaining ingredients in a bowl.

  3. Fold cucumber slices into the sauce.

  4. Chill in refrigerator before serving.
