Household Cleaning Tip

Mold and mildew is a common in damp basements. And, it can be a problem in other areas of your house, too. Here are three ways to minimize this problem:

  • Improve air circulation in your home and basement.
  • Reduce humidity and dampness, especially in your basement. A dehumidifier is all but a must in basements during the summer.
  • Keep surface areas clean of dirt and debris.

Did You Know? Mold cannot grow below 55% humidity. So, keep your dehumidifier at or below this level.
