Homemade Mayonnaise Recipe
Description: Most of us use lots and lots of mayonnaise. Here
is a basic mayonnaise recipe you can make quickly. After you've tried it,
you can experiment with other ingredients, to create intriguing flavors.
Yield: 1 1/2 cups
||Dry mustard (optional)
|1 1/2 Tablespoons
||Vinegar or lemon juice
How to Make Homemade Mayonnaise:
In a bowl, mix together, egg yolk, salt, and mustard.
Using a mixer, add a couple drops of vegetable oil, while blending
continuously throughout the process..
Add a couple more drops of oil, two or three more times.
When the mixture begins to thicken, slowly pour in the remainder of the vegetable
oil, while continuing to blend.
If the mayonnaise is too thick, add a little more vegetable oil.
