Onion Rings in Beer Batter Recipe
Description: Crispy and tasty beer batter recipe to fry up some of your bountiful

In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
Add a dash or two of paprika. This will darken the batter, so the onion rings
will look more golden.
Gradually mix the beer into the mixture.
Refrigerate the batter for 3-4 hours.
Heat shortening or vegetable oil to 375 degrees.
Dip the onion rings into the batter. Allow excess batter to drip off.
Place several onion rigs into the hot oil.
Cook until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
