Peas in Sour Cream Sauce Recipe

Description:  Sweet Peas are a fantastic veggie. They go well with so many things. And, fresh picked peas are Ohhh sooo sweet.

Yield: 6-8 servings


  • 1 1/2 cups fresh picked peas (or, 1-10z. package frozen peas)

  • 1 cucumber, peeled, and diced

  • 1/2 teaspoon tarragon

  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram

  • 1/2 cup thick sour cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Preparation  Directions:

  • Cook peas and diced cucumbers in boiling water until peas are tender.

  • Drain.

  • In a double boiler, mix together remaining ingredients. Simmer, stirring frequently.

  • Pour sauce over peas and cucumbers.

  • Serve hot.
