Fried Pepper Rings Recipe

Description:  You can fry up just about any vegetable. Peppers are no exception. Note, while this recipe calls for green peppers, you can fry banana peppers and hot peppers, too.

Yield: 6 - 8 servings


  • 5-6 green peppers

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • bread or cracker crumbs

Preparation  Directions:

  • Wash peppers, and remove seeds inside.

  • Cut peppers into 1/4" to 1/2" rings.

  • Dip into egg, then coat wit h bread or cracker crumbs. Fry in hot oil, until browned.

  • Remove from oil, and place on paper towels.

  • Serve hot with remoulade sauce, sour cream or your favorite dipping sauce.
