Potato Carrot Mold Recipe

Description:   This is a very, very old recipe. It's still around, because people like it.

Yield: 4 servings


  • 3 potatoes

  • 3 carrots

  • 1 cup warm milk

  • 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • tomato sauce

Preparation Directions:

  1. Peel potatoes and carrots.

  2. Boil in salt water until tender.

  3. Mash carrots and potatoes together.

  4. Add milk, butter, sat and pepper.

  5. Beat until fluffy.

  6. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.

  7. Bake in oven at 350 degrees, until top is browned, about 20 - 25 minutes.

  8. Warm tomato sauce in microwave.

  9. Serve with tomato sauce.
