Stuffed Potato Supreme Recipe

Description:  Made with American cheese, this a a kid favorite. You can substitute with just about any kind of cheese. So, if you are a cheddar cheese, lover, use cheddar. Try it at your next dinner.

Servings: 4 - 8


  • 4 medium potatoes

  • 1/2 cup American cheese, grated

  • 2 Tablespoons butter

  • 1/4 cup celery, minced

  • 1/4 cups almonds, blanched and chopped

  • 1 cup thick white sauce

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • paprika

Preparation Directions:

  1. Bake potatoes.

  2. Remove from oven, and cut into halves, lengthwise.

  3. Scoop out the insides and mash. Set potato shells aside.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and beat until fluffy.

  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  6. Stuff potato shells. Sprinkle a little paprika on top for color.

  7. Put stuffed potatoes into the oven and bake until top is a light brown.

  8. Serve with sour cream and chives on the side.
