Pumpkins and apples are popular fruits, and symbols of Fall. But, don’t limit yourself to just making this Pumpkin Apple Bread recipe in the fall only. It tastes great at any time of the year.

Pumpkin Apple Bread Recipe Ingredients

3 cups flour

2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

3 cups sugar

1 – 15 oz. can pumpkin (not pie filling)

4 eggs

1 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup water

2 cups apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

Directions How to Make Pumpkin Apple Bread

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 ° F.

  2. Grease and flour two bread loaf pans.

  3. In a bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  4. Mix together pumpkin and sugar.

  5. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and water, mixing together well.

  6. Add and mix in dry ingredients.

  7. Fold in chopped apples.

  8. Pour dough into two bread pans.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.

  10. Check to see if the bread is done. Insert a toothpick or knife into the center of the bread. If it comes out clean, it is done. Otherwise, bake for an additional 5 minutes and re-test.

  11. Remove the bread from the oven and let it set for ten minutes.

  12. Remove the bread from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool.
