He-Man Spanish Rice Recipe Description

While this may be a “He-Man” recipe, ladies and kids will like it, too. This Spanish rice recipe pairs well with any Mexican or Tex-Mex meal.

Yield: 5 cups

Spanish Rice Ingredients

1 pound of ground beef

1/2 cup green pepper, chopped

1/2 cup onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, chopped or minced

1 10 3/4 ounce can tomato soup

1 1/2 cups water

1 1/2 cups Minute rice, uncooked

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

Dash of ground black pepper

Directions on How to Make Spanish Rice

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef, green pepper, onions, and garlic, until peppers are tender and beef is browned.
  2. Stir to separate beef.
  3. Drain off excess fat.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook over low heat until liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot.
