Cheese Stuffed Banana Pepper Recipe

Description:  With just a couple steps, and a couple ingredients, you can make a delicious banana pepper appetizer. This is a great way to use up all of those banana peppers that seem to mature on the plant all at the same time.

  • 8 banana peppers

  • 12 ounces pepper jack cheese

  • 8 ounces cream cheese

Preparation Directions:

  1. Wash and peppers, cut open at the stem end, and remove insides.

  2. Grate pepperjack cheese

  3. In a bowl, blend together grated pepperjack cheese and cream cheese.

  4. Stuff the peppers with the cheese mixture. Use a pastry bag, if you have one.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.

  6. Cut each pepper in thirds, or serve whole.
