Creamed Broccoli Recipe Ingredients

12 ounces of broccoli (fresh or frozen)

4 Tablespoons butter or margarine

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

pepper, to taste

4 Tablespoons flour

1 1/4 cups evaporated milk

3/4 cups chicken stock

4 English muffin halves, toasted and buttered

How to Make Creamed Broccoli Directions

  1. Coarsely chop, cook, and drain broccoli.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan.

  3. Blend in paprika, salt, pepper, and flour.

  4. Combine evaporated milk and chicken stock.

  5. Stir over low heat until the sauce is thickened and smooth.

  6. Add broccoli.

  7. Serve hot on toasted and buttered English muffin halves.
