Brussels Sprouts with Herb Butter Recipe
Description: You'll enjoy tasty, home grown Brussels sprouts in any
recipe. This one is an oldie but goodie. It tastes best when using
sprouts and herbs fresh from your garden.
25-30 Brussels Sprouts (or 2 frozen packages)
1/3 cup water
1/3 teaspoon ground thyme
3 Tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1 Tablespoon finely chopped parsley
2 teaspoons lemon juice.
Salt, to taste
Cook Brussels sprouts and thyme in boiling water, until tender.
Drain and place in a serving dish.
While the Brussels sprouts are cooking, melt butter or margarine.
Add marjoram, parsley, lemon juice, and salt(if desired) to the butter.
Pour herb butter over sprouts.
