Mashed Parsnips Recipe Ingredients

5 cups Parsnips, peeled

2-3 Tablespoons butter or margarine

salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon parsley flakes

Recipe Directions

  1. Cook parsnips in boiling water until soft, when pierced with a fork or knife.
  2. Drain.
  3. Mashed parsnips with butter, until smooth.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Place them into a serving dish.
  6. Sprinkle top with parsley flakes
